Adrienne is NZ Silk.... she has been working with silk products for 15 years. Originally from the West Coast of the South Island she established her skills in fine silkware selling her various silk products in numerous outlets and galleries around New Zealand.
More recently Adrienne has moved to Canterbury with Barrie. Together they have an established silk and pottery gallery in West Melton, on the outskirts of Christchurch.
The silk is sourced from China, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand and is hand painted in our studio. The silk dyes are from New Zealand. Various surface variations are achieved by using urea, alcohol, different grades of salt or simply leaving it plain. Further processes are done to achieve the final results in the form of scarves, wraps and many different accessories. In most instances I'm able to dye any combinations you require.
